About Magnet HCC

Magnet Health Care Center is an independent initiative inspired by the Magnet Hospital Recognition Program®, a certification program established by the American nursing community that recognizes so-called “magnet” hospitals—those known for combining high-quality patient care outcomes with working conditions that healthcare providers consider favorable.
The Magnet Hospital, also known as the “magnetic hospital,” illustrates this property of magnetized matter, but also, by extension, the transfer of a magnetic force from a magnetic fluid to an object—in this case, the hospital.
This tool for standardizing practices focuses on the positive aspects of the hospital environment that encourage patients to stay rather than leave.
Much more than a prescriptive guide to best practices in human resources management for nurses, the concept is now seen as a management approach that balances quality of life at work with organizational performance.
A solution tailored to the specific needs of primary care
The Magnet Health Care Center initiative was born out of a desire to provide a tailored response to the specific needs of primary care organizations, drawing inspiration from internationally recognized approaches to improving the quality and appeal of healthcare facilities.
Its mission is to support primary care organizations in strengthening their organizational quality, with a focus on attractiveness, coordination, and regional impact.
Primary care organizations play a central role in patient care and the coordination of the care pathway, but they face significant challenges in terms of governance, coordination, organizational quality, and the ability to attract healthcare professionals.
Magnet Health Care Center supports these organizations in these key areas, operating independently and complementing existing regulatory frameworks and professional obligations.
Our goal: to support the evolution of primary care systems toward greater organizational quality, attractiveness, and operational efficiency.
